After months of work, the new version of the Localboss app has been released on both iOS and Android. In addition to laying the foundations of internal infrastructure for our future projects, with significant changes in the backend, the new Localboss app brings other new features for the user.
At a quick glance the screens may look the same, but we have completely rebuilt the app to make it a solid and stable platform. Here is a brief summary of what’s new:
- Improved speed of use of the app by improving the transmission of information between the app and our database. A complete optimization of the processes that will be reflected in a better user experience.
- Improved business loading for new users. Now this loading will be progressive, and you will be able to access the business profile when it has already loaded without having to wait for all profiles to be fully loaded.
- Fixed several visual bugs
- Improved filter interface to make it more intuitive and easier to add or remove filters.
The filters are still grouped into the following categories:
- Review rating: 5, 4, 3, 2, 2, 1
- Inclusion of comment in the review: With comment, Without comment
- Status of the review: Answered, Not Answered
In addition, the filtering is reactive to the checkboxes you select. When you filter by 5 stars for example, the 450 reviews will be divided between the other two filters so that you know the exact number of Responded or With Text reviews.
A hopeful future
The 2025 roadmap is more than promising, and we are eager to be able to materialize and launch all the new features we have in mind. Among them, the web version of Localboss, so that our chains can respond to reviews and analyze their metrics from a computer.
